REFRESHER TRAINING

This program is designed for commercial drivers who need a refresher course that allows them to have a flexible schedule for as many weeks as they require. The course design is based on an "as needed" weekly training schedule. 

To be qualified for this course a person must have two (2) verifiable years of tractor trailer driving experience. This is an experienced based course and will vary depending on the needs of the applying student. 

Our Driver Refresher Training Course programs are specifically designed for those with previous CDL experience and who currently have a valid CDL.  These are shorter, condensed and structured training programs based on skill. Student’s desiring to take a condensed course instead of a full course program must have an evaluation performed to determine which condensed course would meet the student’s needs. The student will be evaluated on the following criteria:  

 Shifting with less than 10% grinding of gears

 Ability to start and stop smoothly

 Alley dock a trailer within 6 adjustments

 Safely complete both left and right turns without hitting curbs

 Perform air brake test with less than 3 errors

 Perform pre-trip inspection with less than 15 errors

TRAINING HOURS - Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm (hours will vary by location).  Evening and weekend class sessions are subject to approval and the availability of instructors and/or resources.     

TUTION COST: $1000 PER WEEK - All other fees associated with commercial licensing is the sole responsibility of the student.
